How much does shipping cost?

All orders are shipped via UPS Ground for a flat rate of $65 per 55 lb bag. For orders over 400 lb we charge a flat rate of $395 regardless of total order size. We also offer free pickup from our warehouse in New Jersey if you would like to save on shipping or provide your own private freight carrier. Click here for more information about local pickups.

How long does shipping take?

Orders will usually ship within 1-3 business days and transit time is another 1-5 days (depending on your location) from our warehouse. For large orders requiring a scheduled freight carrier, orders usually ship within 3-5 days.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately the international shipping costs would be prohibitive for individual sacks weighing over 50 pounds each. If you are located internationally but have a freight forwarder within the U.S., we're happy to ship to their location.

How is my order packaged?

Bulk spice & herb powders are packaged in heavy duty paper sacks with a plastic liner (the same way they arrive to us directly from the manufacturer), which we then protect with a heavy duty corrugated box. We do not repackage or handle the products directly. Large 450-550 lb drums are either steel or heavy duty plastic and are shipped on a pallet.

Do you accept returns?

We accept returns on unopened sacks if you change your mind for any reason. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on opened sacks as per FDA regulations. Please understand that customers are responsible for return shipping costs. If you are unsure about a product you ordered multiples of, please open one bag at a time to examine the contents. 

Can I have a sample?

We generally have samples available of most lots of our products. Please contact us before placing your order if you'd like us to send you a sample.

Why is the color of my product slightly different than your photos?

By nature, the colors of spices and herbs may vary slightly from one lot to the next. Our items are organic, therefore by definition they are not altered to be a certain color. For example, Turmeric powder can vary from a bright orange/yellow to a deeper orange even with a similar quality and curcumin content. We are constantly importing new product and often sell from more than one lot at any given time. One thing that stays consistent is that we source the highest quality products available and that our products are all recent lots which will be fresh for 1-2 years after your purchase.

How do I know your products are organic and high quality? Can my end product use the USDA organic seal if I purchase from LiveWell?

We pride ourselves in only sourcing organic products of the highest quality, and we stand behind every product we sell. Proof of organic certification and Certificate of Analysis can be provided upon request, as well as samples you may get tested by a third party lab. Due to new USDA regulations, we are not currently set up to use the USDA organic seal. If this is a necessity for your end product please email us at contact@livewellimports.com for references.

Will I get further discounts if I need larger quantities? 

We try to keep our prices as competitive as possible, but we can often offer further discounts for customers who require at least 10 bags of any combination of products. Our warehouse is fully equipped to ship and receive truck loads of any size. Contact us for more information.
